#FitAmazingMums was LIT; ONE Champions supports the wellbeing of Women.

The long awaited event which took place over the weekend at New Castle Hotel, Oniru Lekki, Lagos marks the first edition of #FitAmazingMums.
The event was targeted at Pregnant women and new mums. Its aim was to educate these women and empower them with adequate knowledge on how to live healthy and stay fit during and after pregnancy.
The event started at about noon with an opening address by the Co-Founder, VibrantMeNG, Chioma Ukariaku welcoming the attendees and explaining the aims and objectives of the event.
The Facilitators for the event includes – Iwo Akinyoyenu (Founder, FitFabandAlive); Ladejobi Damola (Founder, AskDamz); Collins Akanno (Founder, Diet234); Amaka Obi (Founder, WivesRoundtable); Nkem A. Adedokun (Founder, NineKay); and Folajimi Adesanya (Founder, PG&D Physiomedics).
There were different activities – fitness exercises, aerobics, yoga, talks on nutrition and a panel session moderated by Stella Chibuike-Ezike discussing “Coping with Motherhood in a Challenging Economy”. The panelists were – Nkem A. Adedokun (Founder, NineKay); Dr Ugonna N Ajoku (CEO Health Army, thedocpreneur); and Adepeju Edu (Cradlepals_kiddies).
The event was powered by VibrantMeNG and had sponsorships from Dano Milk, Clearview Hospital, SS Dental Clinic, Pjus Consultancy Services, ONE, and Wellrose Medical.
The event was hosted by Njideka Edu Obi and received great support from media organizations like Expoze Digital, BlackSatino Blog, WFM 91.7, Healthertainer, Health on the Lens TV, Smartnoys, Doctors Magazine, Health Communicators and many more.
The attendees had a great time throughout the event and can’t wait for another edition of #FitAmazingMums.
ONE Champions (Cindy Ikpe, Kemi  Vaughn and Fausiat Bakare-Balogun) addressed the groups also by introducing them to #MakeNaijastronger campaign, Fausiat Balogun told the group about how they are the major stakeholders and target of the campaign and how everyone needs to get involved in advocating for themselves. The ONE Champions group honored Chioma Ukariaku (Founder, VibrantmeNG) as a ONE champion advocate for organizing a wonderful event focused on women.
